![]() ![]() Every time I thought I was reaching the end of the game, another layer would be added that kept me engaged again. And as you progress the various systems feed into each other in cool way that shifts the way you play the game. A lot of the time they add very important modifiers on the way systems interact with each other. Probably going to give it another shake eventually.īut the game progresses in a very satisfying way where a lot of your progress comes from doing challenges (that provide interesting and, rarely, slightly annoying limitations on the game until you meet the completion requirements) and achievements. But when it clicked I played it every day for a solid five or six months until I hit a wall that I wasn't willing to push through because I was starting to get a bit burnt out at that point anyway. It took me a couple of tries until I really could get into it. It has a somewhat unfriendly community, but it makes for a much better mobile game than RuneScape 3. Terrible graphics, somewhat different gameplay, but a lot of the early game is similar. It's a branch-off of runescape from how it was in 2007. If you really want a mobile game, you can check out Oldschool Runescape (OSRS) mobile. Even chatting is an annoyance on mobile because it's so clunky. And then maybe get on mobile to train skills like fishing, woodcutting, etc which require lesser input than some other skills like dungeoneering. I would suggest starting Runescape on PC just to familiarize yourself with the game, with how things work, what/how/where to do, etc. The interfaces are too clunky and clutter the screen, and if you hide everything then you have no utility.
